Jean Monnet Module on Social Solidarity Economy

The project Jean Monnet Module “Social Solidarity Economy: implementing EU experience for Sustainable Development” (SSExpEU – 101047518 – GAP-101047518, 2022-2025)

Since February 2022, teachers of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of Sumy State University have been implementing a grant of the European Commission, the Jean Monnet Module project “Social Solidarity Economy: implementing EU experience for Sustainable Development” (SSExpEU – 101047518 – GAP-101047518, 2022-2025). The performes of the module are Doctor of Science (Econ.), Prof. Sotnyk I. M., Doctor of Science (Econ.), Prof. Melnyk L.G., Ph.D. (Econ.), Associate Professor Chortok Yu.V. and Ph.D. (Econ.), Associate Professor Kubatko O.Vik. The project is designed to encourage students to master the progressive directions of economy’s socialization and solidarity in the EU, as well as explore the possibilities of their implementation in Ukraine. The involvement of young and experienced specialists in this project will allow to develop innovative methods of teaching and researching European integration. The main result of the project for its participants will be an increase in the level of awareness of European studios, which will bring additional value in their future careers, create prerequisites for the solidarity of society and support young people in their professional growth.

Within the module, it is expected: a) publication of an electronic study aid, scientific articles on the module topic; b) development of educational interactive game “Alphabet of  the social and solidarity economy terms”; с) creation of an open online course; d) publication of a monograph on the module topic; e) inclusion of social solidarity economy topics in conferences at Sumy State University; e) promotion of network activities within the framework of civil society, partners and networks of higher education institutions by holding round tables, conferences, other educational and scientific events, etc.
