Online lectures on social solidarity economy for students of economic specialties of Sumy State University

In October-December 2022, Dr. Sc., Prof. Iryna Sotnyk, Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EEBA) of Sumy State University, gave a series of online lectures on the topic “Social solidarity economy: values and principles for the sustainable development implementation” for masters and bachelors of economic specialties of Sumy State University as part of the disciplines “Social and solidarity economy” and “European economic security policy”. Students got acquainted with the EU experience in the field of development and management of the social solidarity economy, the features of social entrepreneurship in European countries, and the interaction of state authorities and organizations of the social and solidarity economy.

The results of the Jean Monnet Module project, which is currently being implemented at the EEBA department, namely: “Social solidarity economy: implementation of EU experience for sustainable development” (SSExpEU – 101047518 – GAP-101047518) (2022-2025), were used in the lectures.
