During October-December 2022, Dr. Sc., Prof. Iryna Sotnyk, Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EEBA) of Sumy State University, conducted a series of interactive online classes on social school entrepreneurship for students of the Sumy Territorial Branch of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The schoolchildren of grades 8-11 assessed the advantages and drawbacks of entrepreneurship, learned about the peculiarities of social entrepreneurship and its practice in the EU and Ukraine, got acquainted with the prospects and experience of social school entrepreneurship, and identified possible directions for establishing a social enterprise in their educational institutions.
The results of the Jean Monnet Module project, which is currently being implemented at the EEBA department, namely: “Social solidarity economy: implementation of EU experience for sustainable development” (SSExpEU – 101047518 – GAP-101047518) (2022-2025), were used during the classes.
