On December 15, 2022, Iryna Sotnyk, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EPBA) gave an open lecture to students and teachers of the University of Geneva and the general public of Geneva.
The lecture discussed Ukraine’s energy security and state support mechanisms for developing energy efficiency and renewable energy in the country. The lecturer analyzed the impact of energy efficiency and deployment of renewable energy on national energy security before and after February 24, 2022, as well as the prospects for strengthening the country’s energy security in the post-war period. The relevance of the mentioned topic caused interest and a lively discussion among the participants of the event.
