On May 16, 2023, executor of the European Commission Jean Monnet Module grant “Social Solidarity Economy: Implementation of EU Experience for Sustainable Development” (SSExpEU – 101047518 – GAP-101047518) Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Ph.D., Associate Professor Yulija Chortok held the round table «Democratic governance in the social and solidarity economy of the EU” within the framework of International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “ECONOMICS FOR ECOLOGY” (EU practices for sustainable economy implementation within Industries 4.0 and 5.0).
During the round table, participants discussed mechanisms and principles of democratic governance in EU countries, useful practices of corporate social responsibility of business, advantages of democratic governance for social and solidarity economy. The project executors shared the results of their research on the analysis of obstacles to the formation of a social solidarity economy in Ukraine and the impact of military actions on this process in the future.
