On March 11, 2024, Iryna Sotnyk, Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EEBA) of Sumy State University, gave an online lecture on the topic “Social partnership” for the second-year students of specialty 076 Entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activity of SumDU as part of the discipline “Social and labor relations”.
The teacher familiarized the students with the mechanisms and methods of modern social partnership, its contribution to social and labor relations. During the lecture, attention was paid to the role of the state, trade unions and associations of entrepreneurs in the system of social partnership and democratization of society, support of social and solidarity economy and sustainable development. Also, examples of successful social partnership in the countries of the European Union were considered.
The results of the Jean Monnet Module project, which is currently being implemented at the EEBA department, namely: “Social solidarity economy: implementation of EU experience for sustainable development” (SSExpEU – 101047518 – GAP-101047518) (2022-2025), were used in the lectures.
