On May 14-17, 2024, the International scientific and practical online conference “ECONOMICS FOR ECOLOGY” (EU practices in the field of education for sustainable development) was held in Sumy.
The conference brought together more than 50 scientists, teachers, doctoral students, graduate students, bachelors and business representatives. At the plenary session, representatives of the scientific community and civil society from Great Britain, Tanzania, Poland, China, Belgium, Ghana, the Republic of South Africa, and Ukraine spoke with reports on economic, technological, social, and prospects for stimulating sustainable development.
Leonid Melnyk, as founder of the conference told about the history of the conference in early 1990th and the foundations of the formation of the sustainable and solidarity economy.
