Interactive online lecture for students of the Physics and Mathematics School of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

On March 25, 2023, Iryna Sotnyk, Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EEBA) of Sumy State University, held an interactive online lecture on the topic “Pension system of Ukraine: what surprises to expect?” for students of the Physics and Mathematics School of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

High school students got acquainted with the experience of the EU in the field of social and pension security, as well as the features and problems of reforming the pension system in Ukraine. They received recommendations on the formation of their own voluntary pension accounts and practical skills in working with the portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Also, the participants figured out how to build their own optimal retirement strategy at the beginning of their working life.

The results of the Jean Monnet Module project, which is currently being implemented at the EEBA department, namely: “Social solidarity economy: implementation of EU experience for sustainable development” (SSExpEU – 101047518 – GAP-101047518) (2022-2025), were used in the lecture.
