Students of the department met with Olga Fedirko, an expert-practitioner in the field of logistics

An online lecture was held on March 23, 2023, in which Olga Fedirko talked to the students about building her career in logistics. Her prepared presentation and video materials contained information about the DpD Group company, examples of international cargo delivery chains, the peculiarities of work in sorting hubs and depots. The explanations regarding the criteria for the effectiveness of the supply chain, the operation of hubs, and information systems of the organization’s operational activities were constructive and useful for the future graduates’ professional activities. Olga Fedirko works in the German company DpD Group and has significant experience in supply chain management, specifically in cargo delivery. The lecture was attended by second and third-year undergraduate students of the educational program “Economics and Business” (groups EN-02/1e, E-11/1e), fourth-year undergraduate students of the educational program “Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Exchange Activity” (group EN-91/1pe), and first-year master’s students of the educational program “Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Logistics” (groups PTL.m-21,22).
