On December 16, 2023, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EEBA) of Sumy State University, PhD., Associate Professor Yuliia
Chortok gave an online lecture on the topic "Social entrepreneurship in Social and Solidarity Economy” for students and teachers of different universities of Ukraine.
The lecture materials included examples of social enterprises in the EU countries and Ukraine, and an analysis of the main directions of social business development.
Also, the listeners discussed the possibilities of creating a social business in Ukraine, its main paradoxes, and differences from business in the EU countries.
The results of the Jean Monnet Module project, which is currently being implemented at the EEBA department, namely: “Social solidarity economy: implementation of EU experience for sustainable development” (SSExpEU – 101047518 – GAP-101047518) (2022-2025), were used in the lectures.
