From December 11 to 15, 2023, Associate Professor of the department Inna Koblianska participated in the research mobility program at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The mobility was organised within the framework of the AgriSciences Platform https://agrisci-ua.com/
The main topic of the research internship covered war waste management issues. In addition, the experience of colleagues from the Czech University in conducting life cycle assessment (LCA) – an approach to support informed decision-making regarding products, services, processes, systems, taking into account environmental consequences – was also studied.
The research mobility program covered conducting mentoring sessions, tours of the campus and laboratories, meetings and discussions of prospects and directions for further cooperation with the Czech University and partners from other Ukrainian cities (Dnipro, Bila Tserkva). Such initiatives are of great importance for strengthening the research potential in Ukraine and its internalisation.
