On April 18-19, 2024, the performer of the grant of the Jean Monnet project module “Social Solidarity Economy (SSE): implementation of the EU experience for sustainable development” (SSExpEU – 101047518 – GAP-101047518, 2022-2025), professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Dr.Sc. (Econ.), Professor Iryna Sotnyk took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modernization of the Economy: Modern Realities, Forecast Scenarios and Prospects of Development”, which was held online at the Kherson National Technical University, Kherson-Khmelnytskyi.
The conference participants discussed the issues of the current state and prospects for the development and recovery of the economy of Ukraine, which is functioning in the conditions of a large-scale war. Iryna Sotnyk presented her report in co-authorship:
Piven V.S., Sotnyk I.M., Participatory budgets and their role in local development in developed countries of the world,
and offered her vision of directions for the application of this tool in Ukraine based on world and European experience.
