On May 8, 2023, Iryna Sotnyk, Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EEBA) of Sumy State University, gave an online lecture on the topic “Types and principles of social and solidarity economy organizations operation” for students and teachers of the Sumy National Agrarian University.
The lecturer explained the principles and mechanisms of the social and solidarity economy functioning, the peculiarities of organizations operating on such bases, stressed their role in the democratization of society and support of sustainable development initiatives in the countries of the European Union and in Ukraine.
The results of the Jean Monnet Module project, which is currently being implemented at the EEBA department, namely: “Social solidarity economy: implementation of EU experience for sustainable development” (SSExpEU – 101047518 – GAP-101047518) (2022-2025), were used in the lectures.
