Solidarity economy: an innovative cycle of classes for correspondence master’s students at Sumy State University

Within the framework of Jean Monet’s Chair at Sumy State University, an innovative cycle of classes dedicated to modern economic trends in business development has started in September 2022. It is provided by the head of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Doctor of Economics, prof. Karintseva O.I.

The director of the Research Institute of Development Economics of the Ministry of Education and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was invited to one of the classes, Doctor of Economics, prof. Leonid Melnyk with the author’s lecture on the topic “Lessons of the EU in the formation of social and solidarity economy” within the framework of the above-mentioned course.

The course was based on the results of the educational and scientific project of EU Jean Monnet Chair “Legislative, economic and social transition of the EU to a sustainable society within Industry 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020–2023), headed by L. Melnyk
