On the development of the information economy at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. Lecture by Doctor of Economics, Professor Leonid Melnyk

On November 16, 2021 Doctor of Economics, Prof. Leonid Melnyk, Professor at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration at Sumy State University, Director of the Research Institute for Development Economics of the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, gave a lecture “Information economy in the light of Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0” for teachers, students and PhD students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. The lecture started a series of classes “Basics of the EU experience for shaping information society within Industries 4.0 and 5.0”

The cycle was prepared as part of the course of classes on the EU project Jean Monnet (Chair level) “Legislative, the environmental and social transition of the EU to a sustainable society within Industries 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR)

The lecture was attended by more than 100 participants, including 16 teachers, as well as graduate students, undergraduate and PhD students in Educational Programs 051 “Economics”, 071 “Accounting and Auditing”, 073 “Management”, 191 “Architecture and Urban Planning”.

The lecture was considerably interesting. The listeners had many questions, which were answered by the lecturer. After the lecture, a roundtable discussion took place in the virtual class, where the listeners shared their thoughts and new ideas.

The moderators of the roundtable discussion were Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department for Economics of Construction Olha Belenkova and Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department for Economics of Construction Tetiana Tsyfra.
