Lectures for the virtual classroom

In early May 2022, as part of the virtual class “Ukrainian and global security issues: threats to sustainable development” between Sumy State University, Polissya National University and the University of Maryland (USA), Doctor of Economics, Professor Leonid Melnyk and Doctor of Economics, Professor Oleksandr Kubatko continued a series of lectures and held a discussion on “Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and socio-economic issues of security in a war condition.” The lecturers discussed the problems of transport, information and social security of Ukraine and the world during the war. It was emphasized the need to use the achievements of Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 to improve the socio-economic security of countries.
The discussion was supported by Professor Ann Leger (University of Maryland) and Professor Vitaliy Dankevych (Polish National University). In total, more than 70 participants (students and teachers) attended the event.
The meeting was organized and moderated by Professor Iryna Sotnyk (Sumy State University). The events took place within the framework of the European Commission project «Jean Monnet Chair in EU Economic Policies and Civil Society» (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR).
