On March 18, 2025, the joint international academic virtual mobility program between Sumy State University and Riga Technical University was officially launched. The first event of the program featured an engaging lecture by Dr. Tatjana Tambovceva, Professor at Riga Technical University, on the topic “Introduction to Disruptive Technologies and the Circular Economy.”
This lecture marked the beginning of a series of lectures and seminars scheduled within the three-month mobility program. Bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students, as well as faculty members from the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration at SumDU are actively participating in the initiative.
During the lecture, the following issues were explored: the history and theoretical foundations of the circular economy concept, and Latvia’s experience in implementing modern technologies to achieve the goals of a closed-loop economy
We sincerely appreciate Professor Tatjana Tambovceva for her long-term and fruitful collaboration and support!
