LECTURE FOR STUDENTS OF THE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING VOCATIONAL COLLEGE OF SUMDU ON KEY COMPETENCIES FOR AN INNOVATIVE AND SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

On March 17, 2025, 15 students and a teacher of the Mechanical Engineering Vocational College of Sumy State University attended a lecture titled “A Modern Specialist – Who Are They?”. The event focused on key aspects that define a professional of the future, including the importance of intercultural communication, technological skills for fostering innovation, and the role of these competencies in achieving sustainable development goals.

Special attention was given to the international and scientific activities of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration at SumDU. The speaker, Inna Koblianska, Associate Professor of the department and project coordinator of the Jean Monnet Chair “Strengthening EU Leadership and Capacity in Science and Innovation” (101175767—EU_STRENGHTS—ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH), presented the project’s objectives, initiatives, and activities aimed at fostering innovation.

The opportunity for face-to-face interaction in the university classrooms, located in a shelter, created a unique atmosphere, making the lecture dynamic, interactive, and engaging.
