On May 19, 2022, the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Management of the XXI Century: Globalization Challenges” took place on the basis of Poltava State Agrarian University. This event brought together a wide range of Ukrainian and foreign experts in the field of management of socio-economic development of the state, region and enterprise.
The conference was attended by Professor of Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor L. Hr. Melnyk, who addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the integral role of management for the development of socio-economic systems in modern conditions. In addition, the professor spoke at the plenary session with a report “Agricultural and food security management in Ukraine and the EU”, which revealed current issues of food security management at the local and global levels. Based on the results of the conference, a collection of abstracts will be published (the authors of one of the publications are Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor L. Нr. Melnyk, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor O. V. Kubatko and student V. S. Piven).
It should be noted that the conference participation was performed within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair in EU Economic Policies and Civil Society (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR).
