The world saw the collective monograph “Modern industrial revolutions and improvement of mechanisms for sustainable socio-economic development” edited by Doctor of Economics, Prof. L.G. Melnyk and PhD., Associate Professor О. Matsenko (publisher: Sumy: University Book, 416 p.).
The monograph considers the directions of improvement of economic systems management at macro- and microeconomic levels in the conditions of modern industrial revolutions.
Representatives of 20 institutions, including Belgium, Belarus, Spain, Canada, Latvia, Poland and Ukraine, took part in the work on the monograph. The main scientific contribution to the preparation of the monograph was made by scientists from Sumy (Sumy State University and Sumy National Agrarian University), Kharkiv (Kharkiv National Economic University and O.M. Beketov Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy), Poltava (Poltava State Agrarian University).
The monograph became a platform for testing the results of two Jean Monnet projects (Chair level), which are currently being implemented at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of SSU with funding from the European Commission:
- “Legislative, economic and social transition of the EU to a sustainable society within Industry 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020-2023), headed L. Melnyk;
- EU Economic Policy and Civil Society (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020–2023), headed by O. Kubatko.
