Scientific seminar within the framework of the joint international project “AgriSciences Platform for Scientific Enhancement of HEIs in Ukraine”

We will support ours at Euro 2020! The Department of EPtaBA is also struggling in the European field, but in the scientific field with the slogan: “Let’s strike with joint European research on the agricultural sector of Ukraine on the way to sustainable development!”. Yes, as a result of the Pandemic, much has changed in our daily lives and needs to be rethought. The Department of EPtaBA in its own way implements this rethinking, which is expressed in research on various topics. In Thu. 10.06.2021 Ph.D. Goncharenko OS held a scientific seminar on “Social and solidarity economy and agriculture: sustainable development, pandemic, cooperation of farmers”, which was attended by students, graduate students and teachers of various universities. Representatives of the Department of Enterprise Economics, Odessa Polytechnic State University (Odessa, Ukraine) and a representative of the University of Cadiz (Spain), who is completing her dissertation research on this topic, joined the meeting online. The event was held as part of the project “AgriSciences Platform for Scientific Enhancement of HEIs in Ukraine” in conjunction with the Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic. The seminar raised the following issues: the role of the agricultural sector of Ukraine in overcoming the crown of the crisis, the manifestations of solidarity economy in the agricultural sector, presented methods for calculating the level of solidarity economy in the agricultural sector and more. Speaker Goncharenko OS, giving a report gave examples of solidarity organizations of farmers in Ukraine, and Ph.D. Barabash OO from Odessa Polytechnic stressed the importance and relevance of this topic both in the context of the fight against the pandemic and for sustainable regional development. Different views were also expressed on the role of the Odessa region in the development of solidarity agriculture in Ukraine.
