Video meeting of students of the 3rd year of the specialty “Entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activity” with representatives of microbusiness of Sumy

April 28, 2020, within the framework of a practical lesson on the discipline “Business Support”, third-year students of the specialty “Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities” held a video meeting (lecturer Yevhen Kovalenko) with representatives of microbusiness from Sumy – Sergey Filonenko and Victoria Makerskaya, who are co-owners of the coffee shop and floristry studio “Drevo Jelaniy“.

Entrepreneurs willingly shared their experience and gave advice how to organize own business, optimize business processes, and possibilities of using modern information and communication technologies in the promotion of goods and services.

During the discussion with entrepreneurs, students were able to learn about the specificities of doing business in quarantine, under state supervision and control over business activity, and also about competition and cooperation.

Sergiy and Victoria also spoke about their own experience in participating in a business support program (in particular, about the experience of receiving financial assistance from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development).
