Winning in the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the specialty “Economics of nature management and environmental protection”

For the second year in a row, fourth-year student of the specialty “Economics and Business” Kucherenko Polina (E-61) works on ecological and economic problems of the society and wins the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works on specialization “Economics of environmental management and environmental protection”.

According to the results of the meeting of the sectoral competition commission, which worked at the Department of Economics of the Kremenchuk National University named after Mikhail Ostrogradsky, and on the basis of the received reviews and open discussion, this year Polina was also named one of the best.

As part of the 2019/2020 competition, Pauline received a second-class diploma from more than 90 student-authors of papers sent from 28 higher education institutions in Ukraine. Today, the topic of the work of the student “Sustainable Waste Management Strategy in Ukraine” is very relevant and important for the whole society. In her work, the author proposed her own developments on the use of economic tools in the process of introducing a system of separate collection of solid household waste in Sumy.
