Ukrainian Energy Security Dialogue 2025

On December 9, PhD student in the field of C1 “Economics and International Economic Relations,” Vladyslav PIVEN, participated in the International Conference on Energy Transformation Issues, Ukrainian Energy Security Dialogue 2025 — the fifth discussion platform dedicated to developing new approaches to energy security amid the full-scale war, the global energy transition, rising hybrid threats, and increasing geopolitical instability. The conference was organized by DiXi Group, one of Ukraine’s leading think tanks in the field of energy and sustainable transition. The central theme of the event was the question of how energy security is evolving.

The event brought together leading Ukrainian and international experts, government and parliamentary representatives, and business leaders to develop solutions that will shape the future architecture of energy resilience in Ukraine and the region.

Vladyslav took part in the panel Q&A session and discussions on strengthening the impact of sanctions in the current geopolitical context and on energy transformations of the economy in the era of digitalization. Particularly valuable was his interaction with Dr. Alan Riley, Visiting Professor at the College of Europe, regarding the prospects of green transformations to enhance Ukraine’s energy security.
