The prospects of EU development: a webinar with Jean Monnet professors

28 Jean Monnet Professors, researchers, and policy makers have agreed to create, in collaboration with the Dimitris-Tsatsos-Institute for European Constitutional Sciences of the Fernuniversität in Hagen, a study group on the European Constitutional process, based on the Chatham House model.

Leonid Melnyk was offered a Membership as a Jean Monnet Chairholder, distinguished academics, policy and opinion maker. On September 29, 2022 Oleksandr Kubatko a Jean Monnet Chair has participated in the first discussion on policy debate about prospects of EU development

The study group envisages discussing its findings with Members of the European Parliament and other institutional actors presently involved in the process of institutional reform of the European Union.  Oleksandr and Leonid are representing two EU projects (Jean Monett Chairs), which are currently being implemented at the EPBA department:

  • “Legislative, economic and social transition of the EU to a sustainable society within Industry 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020–2023), headed by L. Melnyk;
  • “EU Economic Policy and Civil Society” (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020–2023), headed by O. Kubatko.
