On October 10, 2025, the course “Innovative Entrepreneurship and Startup Management: Experience of Ukraine and the EU” officially started. The course was developed and is delivered as part of the international Jean Monnet Chair project “Strengthening EU Leadership and Capacities in Science and Innovation” (101175767 — EU_STRENGHTS — ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH, 2024–2027), implemented at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration.
The course aims to foster entrepreneurial thinking, innovation competencies, and students’ understanding of European values and best practices in startup management.
During the first lectures, students explored the characteristics of startup ecosystems in the EU and Ukraine, learned about opportunities for startup financing in the EU, and studied the core principles of team building and design thinking.
The course is taught in English for students from Ukraine and the People’s Republic of China, comprising a total of 40 academic hours. The instructor is Dr. Inna Koblianska, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department, and the Jean Monnet Chair Holder.
