STARTUP PITCHING BECAME THE FINAL STAGE OF THE COURSE “INNOVATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND STARTUP MANAGEMENT: UKRAINE AND THE EU EXPERIENCE”

The final stage of the course “Innovative Entrepreneurship and Startup Management: Ukraine and the EU Experience”was marked by a pitching session where students presented their startup ideas developed based on the approaches and practices studied throughout the course.

The presented projects covered a wide range of relevant topics — from the creation of smart educational platforms and environmentally friendly urban spaces to waste recycling solutions and the implementation of circular economy principles.

The course was implemented within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair “Strengthening EU Leadership and Capacity in Science and Innovation” (101175767—EU_STRENGHTS—ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH). The program showcases European experience in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation.

Students explored the structure of the European startup ecosystem, mechanisms for innovation financing, and best practices in entrepreneurship across the EU, as well as applied design thinking methods in developing their own business ideas.

The course was delivered in English for Ukrainian and international students. The instructor and project leader is Associate Professor Inna Koblianska, PhD (Economics), from the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration.
