PRESENTATION OF RESEARCH RESULTS ON THE ROLE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN ADVANCING THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY AT THE PAKSOM 2025 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Information technologies today open up countless opportunities – particularly for fostering scientific collaboration, knowledge sharing, and promoting research outcomes.

On October 20, 2025, Inna Koblianska, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration of Sumy State University, presented her research “Enabling Circularity in Manufacturing through Digital Innovation: A Review of Technologies and Applications” at the 7th International Virtual Conference Path to a Knowledge Society – Managing Risks and Innovation (PaKSoM 2025).

In her presentation, the researcher focused on the role of digital technologies in transforming manufacturing processes and enabling the transition to a circular economy. The report provided an analytical overview of technologies and areas of digital innovation that enhance resource efficiency, reduce waste, and promote sustainable production cycles.

The study was conducted within the framework of the research project
“Fundamentals of Sustainable and Inclusive Regional Spatial Development for Post-War Reconstruction in the Context of Digital Transformation”
(No. 0125U001620, 2025–2027), funded by the State Budget of Ukraine.

The conference was organized by the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in collaboration with the Complex Systems Research Centre (Belgrade, Serbia). The event brought together scholars from various countries to discuss innovations, risks, and pathways toward developing a knowledge-based society.

Participation in the conference is an important opportunity to present the results of Ukrainian research on the international arena and strengthen cooperation in the field of digital innovation and sustainable development.
