On October 24, 2025, within the framework of the 8th International Annual Conference on Victimology, Crime Prevention, and Victim Support (University of Nairobi, Kenya), the results of research conducted by the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of Sumy State University were presented. The research is carried out under the project “Fundamentals of Sustainable and Inclusive Regional Spatial Development for Post-War Reconstruction in the Context of Digital Transformation” (No. 0125U001620, 2025–2027), funded by the State Budget of Ukraine.
The presentation delivered by Inna Koblianska, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department and Principal Investigator of the research project, focused on the issues of digital security, social inclusion, and the use of state digital platforms to support individuals affected by conflicts and to strengthen community resilience.
The report examined the role of digital services in building e-safety and a service-oriented state, current Ukrainian practices in digital governance and social support, and the potential of digital education as a mechanism for enhancing societal resilience. The presentation also included a comparison of Ukrainian and Kenyan approaches to digital transformation in governance.
The results presented form part of the analytical component of the research project, which aims to develop inclusive models for regional recovery in the post-war period and strengthen social stability through digital tools.
