Modern trends in the development of mankind: online meeting prof. L. Melnyk with school on the Oleg Balatsky street’ students

04/16/2019, an online meeting of the Doctor of Economics, prof. L. Melnyk, Head of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of the FEM named after Oleg Balatsky of Sumy State University, Director of the Research Institute for Development Economics of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the 11th grade students of school No. 21 on Oleg Balatsky Street.

Professor L. Melnyk spoke about the current trends in the socio-economic development of mankind, drawing attention to the fact that the pace of breakthrough technologies is largely reminiscent of the trends of the modern pandemic.

Last year’s graduate of this school spoke at the meeting, and now Vladyslav Piven, a student-economist at FEM named after Oleg Balatsky of Sumy State University. Besides, he is already the author of an English-language article in one of the leading Ukrainian journals Economics of Agriculture and twice a laureate of a student research contest. He spoke about modern trends in the development of the sharing economy.
