9.11.2021 Doctor of Economics, Professor Leonid Melnyk, Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EEBA) at Sumy State University, Director of the Research Institute for Development Economics of the Ministry of Education & Science and National Academy of Science of Ukraine, presented first online lecture “Window to the Future” from the general cycle “Basics of the EU experience for shaping information society within Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0” for teachers and students of the Faculty of Economics at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
The lecture was attended by more than 100 participants, including 18 teachers, as well as graduate students, undergraduate students in educational programs (EP) “Business Process Management”, “Organizational Management”, “Public Administration”, undergraduates in EPs “Administrative Management”, “Business Management”, “Management of Organizations”
Dr. Liudmyla Kalinichenko, Professor of the Department of Economics and Management, which provides training in these EPs said: “The lecture allowed students to broaden their horizons and gain new knowledge about the phase transition to a new socio-economic formation, features of the fourth and fifth industrial revolutions, which combine physical, digital and the biological worlds, have an impact on all sectors of the economy and challenge the idea of what it means to be human in today’s world”.
After the lecture, a “round table” was held in an extremely lively atmosphere. The participants actively discussed and expressed their views on radical changes in economic processes, energy conservation and development of clean production, human life, and attitude to the world, homeland, as well as each other.
The lecture was prepared within the framework of Jean Monnet project, which is carried out at the Department of EEBA (Chair level): “Legislative, environmental and social transition of the EU to sustainable society within Industries 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1- UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR), Project leader is L. Melnyk.
