Lectures to students of the machine building college within the framework of Jean Monnet Module

In the spring semester of 2024, the teacher of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Oleksandr Kubatko held lecture meetings with students of the Mechanical Engineering College of Sumy State University. The classes were held within the framework of the week of the speciality “Entrepreneurship, trade and stock market activity”. The topic of the intensive course is «EU practices of disruptive technologies for Economic, Social, Energy and Cyber Security».

In the framework of the meetings, the necessity of active activity in the restoration of the economy of Ukraine in the post-war period was discussed. Oleksandr Kubatko explained the mechanisms of ensuring economic, social and energy security in the conditions of war and post-war reconstruction. Students of the machine building college took part in a discussion about the prospects of creating smart energy networks in Ukraine and choosing the optimal (economically justified and technically achievable) sources of electricity generation.

The course was based on the results of the educational and scientific project of EU Jean Monnet Module which is currently being carried out at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration: Jean Monnet Module “Disruptive technologies for sustainable development in conditions of Industries 4.0 and 5.0: the EU Experience” (101083435 — DTSDI — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH) (2022-2025) headed O.
