Jean Monnet lectures for students of Kharkiv National University of Economics

In November-December 2020, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Bohdan Kovalov (Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Sume State University) has delivered a series of online lectures on the topic “Entrepreneurship and the Role of Civil Society” for students majoring in “Tourism” of Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics.

Lectures were held within Jean Monnet Chair “Jean Monnet Chair for EU Economic Policy and Civil Society” (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR, Supervisor – Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business administration Oleksandr Kubatko).

Bohdan Kovalov spoke about the EU’s experience in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

During the lectures, students learned about the basic principles of entrepreneurship; about the resources needed to start your own business; on EU funds for the development of small and medium enterprises; about sources of initial investment and platforms for business placement.
