EU practices of disruptive technologies for economic security and entrepreneurship for National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic»

During the September-October 2024, it was organized a cooperation between Sumy State University and National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic». Particularly it was held an intensive lecturing on the course “EU practices of disruptive technologies for Economic Security and entrepreneurship” for the students and teachers of National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic». The lecturer of the discipline is Oleksandr Kubatko, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Ass. Professor, Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration.

The basic disruptive technologies practices in the EU (greener production and services, greener energy industries, IT sectors, creative economies, etc.) were discussed. Oleksandr Kubatko has spoken about best EU disruptive technologies practices for economic security, sustainable entrepreneurship, and start-ups ensuring,. Social and economic challenges of disruptive technologies were explained. In general the course provided an understanding of management and business planning techniques that transform ideas into viable businesses based on the examples of EU countries.

The cycle of classes was prepared as part of the Jean Monet EU project, which is currently being carried out at the economics, entrepreneurship and business administration department of Sumy State University: “Disruptive technologies for sustainable development in conditions of Industries 4.0 and 5.0: the EU Experience” (101083435 -DTSDI – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH) (2022-2025) headed by O. Kubatko
