Disruptive technologies as the key to the future: a cycle of classes for undergraduate students of Sumy State University

With the lecture “Disruptive technologies in the light of Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0: EU experience and practice of Ukraine”, a new author’s course “Socio-economic trends in Business” for Sumy State University undergraduate students began. Lecturer – Doctor of Economics, Leonid Melnyk, professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EPBA) of Sumy State University, director of the Research Institute of Development Economics of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The lecturing started in an interactive format, with the active participation of students in dialogue. Students of the following majors participate in the cycle of classes:

  • Journalism,
  • Environmental protection technologies,
  • Applied Mathematics,
  • Computer Science,
  • Computerized control systems,
  • Electronic information systems,
  • Finances,
  • Marketing,
  • International Economic Relations,
  • Philology,
  • Psychology.

The cycle of classes was prepared as part of the Jean Monet EU project, which is currently being carried out at the EPBA department: “Disruptive technologies for sustainable development in conditions of Industries 4.0 and 5.0: the EU Experience” (101083435 — DTSDI — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH) (2022-2025) headed O. Kubatko.
