On March 28, an open lecture was held for students of the Institute of Business, Economics and Management (BIEM) featuring representatives of Distributed Lab, invited by Associate Professor Oleksandr Matsenko, PhD in Economics. The lecture was dedicated to the topic “Automated Market Makers.”
The speakers were two experienced practitioners: Serhii Kozlov, PhD in Economics and Head of the DeFi Division, and Olena Voloshchuk, PhD in Technical Sciences and Coordinator of Educational Programs at Distributed Lab. In their presentations, the experts explained the principles behind the operation of automated market makers (AMMs), their significance within the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, and shared real-world applications of these technologies in the financial industry.
During the session, students from groups E-41, E-42, PTB-41, PTL.m-41, PTL.m-32, BA.m-42, and others actively participated in the discussion. They asked insightful questions about the opportunities and challenges of implementing AMMs in today’s business environment. All participants received comprehensive answers and valuable guidance on blockchain-related business trends.
We sincerely thank the experts Serhii Kozlov and Olena Voloshchuk for an engaging and productive event, and express our gratitude to Distributed Lab for their continued support of our university’s educational initiatives.
