Researchers from the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Vladyslav Piven and Oleksandr Kubatko, achieved a decisive victory in the AgriSci-UA Platform – Call for Grants 2025 with the project “War and Water Insecurity: Assessing the Environmental and Economic Costs of Restricted Black Sea Access.”
AgriSci is a platform that brings together universities from Ukraine and the Czech Republic with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
The upcoming research will address pressing issues in environmental economics and water management under wartime conditions and will make a practical contribution to the economic and environmental security of the Black Sea region.
Moreover, this achievement strengthens the role of young researchers and provides new opportunities for implementing innovative research ideas and initiatives.
We wish the team great success in implementing the project!
