Victorious cooperation of students-economists at a distance of 190 km

On April 20, the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the field of “Actual issues of cooperation with the European Union” took place on the basis of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Students Stanislav Nikolaiev (Sumy State University, bachelor, 4th year, educational program “Economics and Business”) and Diana Kazak (V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, bachelor, 1st year, educational program “International e-commerce”) with research paper on “Economic prospects for cooperation with the EU in the use of blockchain technologies”, according to the results of the defense at the scientific-practical conference, took second place (supervisors – Vitalina Babenko, Doctor of Economics, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Viacheslav Voronenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of Sumy State University).

Students in their research paper have investigated the development trends of blockchain technologies, have found possible options for implementing blockchain technologies in the activities of joint ventures with the European Union of Ukraine, as well as have calculated the economic benefits of cooperation between the EU and Ukraine in the use of blockchain technologies.
