The future driven by solidarity economy: an innovative cycle of lectures for undergraduate students of Sumy State University

Doctor of Economics, prof. Leonid Melnyk, head Jean Monet of the EU department at Sumy State University, director of the Research Institute of Development Economics of the Ministry of Education and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in September 2022 started an innovative cycle of classes “Lessons of the EU in the formation of a social and solidarity economy” dedicated to modern economic trends in the development of society.
About 70 students would participate, they represent the following educational areas: computer science; electrical engineering, electrical engineering and electromechanics; telecommunications and radio engineering; cyber security; applied mathematics; micro- and nanosystem technology; finance, banking and insurance; accounting and taxation; management; marketing; international economic relations; public management and administration.
The course is based on the results of educational and scientific project of EU the Jean Monnet chair “Legislative, economic and social transition of the EU to a sustainable society within Industry 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020–2023), headed by L. Melnyk
