Synergy of Practice and Marketing: An Expert Perspective on Event Marketing

Expert Talk: “Event Marketing: How Companies Can Maximize Results” took place on April 16 in Uzhhorod. Kostiantyn Zavrazhnyi, PhD in Economics and Senior Researcher at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration (Sumy State University), participated in the event.

Alina Yuzhytsia, Events Manager, Global Marketing at SoftServe with over 10 years of experience in the industry, shared insights on how to select events and gain maximum benefit for a business or startup. She provided practical advice based on her extensive experience with international conferences and various event formats.

Participants learned how to identify relevant events, evaluate their effectiveness, and avoid common pitfalls. The discussion covered strategies for making participation as productive as possible — from preparing communication materials and managing exhibition booths to effective networking and post-event follow-up with new contacts.

Participation in this event is integrated into the ongoing research project: “Formation of Management Mechanisms for the Digital Transformation of Enterprises.” In the context of Digital Transformation, communication becomes a critical component of a company’s digital architecture, while event marketing serves as a powerful tool for testing innovative solutions and establishing strategic partnerships.
