Summer Online School for Faculty of Poltava Polytechnic within a Jean Monnet Module

On September 30, 2025, the results of the summer online school for the faculty members of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” were summarized. The school was held in August 2025 by Dr Bohdan Kovalov and Professor Oleksandr Kubatko of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration.

As part of the event, participants attended an intensive course “EU Economy and Economic Policy for Business Support.”

Dr Bohdan Kovalov presented the key aspects of the functioning of the EU economy and outlined the main directions of economic policy aimed at supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. Special attention was devoted to EU measures for stimulating entrepreneurship and creating new jobs.

Professor Oleksandr Kubatko addressed issues of social, economic, and political integration within the EU, analysed the role of the European economy in the global context, and provided a detailed overview of the EU’s economic policy instruments targeted at business support and employment creation.

The intensive course has been prepared within the framework of the implementation of the European Commission project – the Jean Monnet Module “Youth & Business: EU Practices for Cooperation” (101126538-YouthBEU-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH), headed Bohdan Kovalov.
