Statistics: from theory to practice

08.04.2021 on the discipline “Statistics” for first-year students of educational programs “Economics and Business” (gr. EN-02/1e, lecturer – Matsenko O.), “Economic Cybernetics and Business Analytics” (gr. EK-01a, lecturer – Dutchenko O.) and “Entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activities” (gr. EN-01/1pe, lecturer – Voronenko V.) was held an open online lecture by professional statistician Panchenko Alla , who graduated Kharkiv State University named after D. Karazina, majoring in Statistics, worked for 32 years in the Sumy Regional Department of Statistics, 20 years, of which as a Deputy Head of the Main Department of Statistics in the Sumy region.

The lecture raised issues of peculiarities of activity and reorganization of the main structural subdivisions of the State Statistics Service. The methodology of the population census, problems and urgency of its conduct were discussed.

Students expressed a desire to organize a new meeting!
