On May 25, 2021, a series of classes for students and teachers of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of SSU and the Faculty of International Economic Relations and Hotel and Restaurant Affairs of Kharkiv National University took place. V.N. Karazina.
The cycle was started by Doctor of Economics, Professor of SSU LG Melnyk lecture “Future in the light of modern industrial revolutions.” Then there was a round table, which raised acute issues of modern challenges: how to overcome the problems of alternative technologies, whether Ukraine needs accelerated pace of transformation, and others. The moderator of the round table was a professor of KhNU, Ph.D. V.O. Babenko and Associate Professor of SSU, Ph.D., OM Matsenko.
The round table was held within the framework of two EU projects of Jean Monnet level “department”, which are currently being implemented at the department at SSU:
- “Legislative, economic and social transition of the EU to a sustainable society within Industry 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020–2023), headed by L. Melnyk;
- “EU Economic Policy and Civil Society” (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020–2023), headed by O. Kubatko.
