On September 15, 2025, a meeting took place between Inna Koblianska, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of Sumy State University, and Dr Tünde Varga-Atkins from the University of Liverpool, focused on digitalization in education and research, COIL courses, and potential international collaboration between the departments.
During the meeting, Inna Koblianska presented the results of the EU_STRENGHTS project, particularly regarding the enhancement of scholars’ digital competencies. The discussion highlighted and explored the perspectives of digital transformation in education, the role of the project in developing new approaches to teaching and research, implementing innovative instructional methodologies, and fostering international academic cooperation.
The meeting also addressed opportunities for the further development of digital initiatives within joint educational and research projects, which will contribute to improving the quality of education, integrating modern digital tools, and building competencies necessary for successful work in a globalized world.
