Participation of a Ph.D. student of the department in the BUP Summer Course 2019 “Sustainability Innovations in a Circular Economy” |
From September 3 to September 7, 2019, the BUP Summer Course: “Sustainability Innovations in a Circular Economy” was held at the National Forestry University of Ukraine in Lviv organized by the Baltic University Program together with the European School of Sustainability Science and Research (Hamburg, Germany) and the FORCE and LARS projects. Fedyna Svitlana, Ph.D. student of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration became a participant in the course.
The program was attended by over 60 participants from 11 countries. The program of the course included lectures from experts in the field of bioeconomy and the circular economy from Ukraine, Germany and Poland, as well as participants had the opportunity to talk with representatives of the city of Lviv and entrepreneurs who apply the principles of the circular economy in their business, in particular, excursions were organized to enterprises such as FAKRO, Carlsberg Ukraine, Enzym. Also there was a group work, which included discussions, as well as participation in the game In the Loop.
