In November 2020, Doctor of Economics, Leonid Melnyk, Professor of Dept. Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration in Sumy State University, Director of the Research Institute of Development Economics of the Ministry of Education & Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine gave the lectures “Current Industrial Revolutions: EU Experience and Practice of Ukraine” to students majoring in 141 Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics. The lectures were given under the EU grant of Jean Monnet “Legislative, economic and social transition of the EU to a sustainable society within Industry 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR), which is currently being implemented at the department.
The lectures were met with great interest and raised many questions.
