Meeting with a specialist from the Pension Fund of Ukraine

On April 15, 2021, an online lecture was held with Svitlana Yeshchenko, Head of the Pension Recalculation Department of the Pension Provision Department of the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Sumy Region. The event was organized by Professor of our department O. Karpishchenko. and T. Ilyashenko (Associate Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship Departmnet) at the same time for interested students of both departments. The event was attended by 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year students majoring in “Economics and Business” and “Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities” in the study of their disciplines, as well as teachers of the department.

Attendees received useful information about the list of documents prepared by the employer for retirement, the introduction of electronic workbooks, the basic rules for calculating pensions and the principles of their recalculation, as well as insurance experience, innovations in the Pension Fund and many useful, relevant information that will be useful, both in further training and in employment. The topic of pension provision is so interesting that it has raised many questions, in particular regarding the appointment of pensions to self-employed persons, the calculation of insurance experience working under a civil contract, taking into account the period of study in higher education and more.
