Lectures to students at the Machine Building College of SSU as a part of the Jean Monnet project

In the spring semester of 2025, the lecturer of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration Dr Bohdan Kovalov held lectures with students and teachers at the Machine Building College of SSU.

As part of the intensive course, the EU economy and economic policies of business support were discussed. The focus was on EU policy on supporting youth entrepreneurship, the development of small and medium-sized businesses and the creation of new jobs.

Dr Kovalov spoke about social, economic and political integration in the EU; the role of the EU economy in the modern world; EU economic policy to support business and create new jobs; the possibilities of EU policy for youth; partnership between business and universities in the EU.

Students also received practical knowledge in developing their own business projects using the principles of the Theory of Effectuation.

We would like to express our gratitude to Lidia Skorokhodova, Tetyana Ochkova and Elina Valiukh for the opportunity to hold events and organize students.

The training course has been prepared within the framework of the implementation of the European Commission project – the Jean Monnet Module “Youth & Business: EU Practices for Cooperation” (101126538-YouthBEU-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH).
