In December 2024, the performer of the Jean Monnet module “Youth and Business: EU Practices for Cooperation” Vladyslav Piven conducted classes with students of the “Accounting and Taxation” specialty of the Sumy Applied College of Construction and Architecture.
Within the framework of the intensive course, comprehensive discussions were held on European Union trade mechanisms and policies aimed at fostering international business development. Participants were afforded the opportunity to conceptualize and formulate business projects, including strategic plans for market entry at the international level.
Vladyslav Piven provided in-depth analysis on the economic underpinnings of trade, the structure of both intra-European and external trade relations, and the evolving trade dynamics between the European Union and Ukraine – both prior to and during the ongoing conflict. The curriculum also encompassed a detailed examination of the Agreement on the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) between Ukraine and the EU, as well as an overview of active EU enterprises and broader international business practices.
We express our gratitude to Svitlana Sokolenko, as well as the College Management Team for the opportunity to hold events and organize students.
The training course has been prepared within the framework of the implementation of the European Commission project – the Jean Monnet Module “Youth & Business: EU Practices for Cooperation” (101126538-YouthBEU-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH).
