Final lectures and discussions on the topic “Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and the formation of security of socio-economic systems in conditions of war” for SNAU students

In April 2024, the intensive course by Oleksandr Kubatko, professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EPBA), head of the EU Jean Monet project, on “Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and the formation of security of socio-economic systems in conditions of war” for students and teachers of Sumy national agrarian University (SNAU) was held. During the final classes, issues of energy security, transport, social and information security were discussed.

Transport safety is the state of the transport infrastructure, vehicles and supporting components (energy, people, financial system) necessary for the uninterrupted implementation of functional activity. Industries 3.0 and 4.0 for transport safety (as seen on EU example) can have positive consequences in the following areas: electrification of transport; dematerialization of transport operations based on digitization of transport facilities; optimization of logistics (e.g., based on GPS); traffic optimization ; digitalization of financial operations; introduction of unmanned transport (in particular, drones); distance training of personnel .

The classes are conducted in an interactive mode, where the participants lively discussed the current challenges of our time. The moderator of the event was Inna Koblyanska, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of Sumy State University. The events were attended by students and postgraduates majoring in: management; marketing; industrial engineering; agronomy.

The course was based on the results of the educational and scientific project of EU Jean Monnet Module which is currently being carried out at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration: “Disruptive technologies for sustainable development in conditions of Industries 4.0 and 5.0: the EU Experience” (101083435 — DTSDI — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH) (2022-2025) headed O.
